“Stir Before Using”

When you open a jar of Zen Bear Honey Tea, take a look inside at the layer of tea that has risen to the top. The lovely/ugly fluff you see is proof of quality.

Stir it up.

Besides being incredibly delicious and rich, honey is natures perfect preservative. It is anti-bacterial and anti-septic so it won’t grow mold.

Stir it up.

We believe in adding only whats needed and using the best of whats available. We use only pure clover honey and our exceptional blends of dried herbs/spices teas/cocoas.

Stir it up.

In the jar, in the honey, the flavors and vitality of the herbs develop and mingle, infusing the honey, getting more and more complex with time. It’s a Wild thing. Ancient wisdom.

Stir it up.

Zen Bear tastes best when the proportions are evenly distributed.

So stir it back together!

Hard As a Rock

Honey crystallizes when left unattended and cool and,

pure honey is natures perfect preservative so,

there’s no need to refrigerate!

It’s hard to stir crystalized honey, honey that wont flow. But…

if you warm honey it will flow freely.

To gently heat the honey, we recommend submerging the closed jar in warm water. Either in a simmering saucepan, or a big bowl in the sink.

Shelf Life

The key to aging your Zen Bear Honey Tea?

Keep water out of the jar!

This should go without saying but, no double dipping.

Unless you want to make mead or kombucha, keep your wet spoons out of the jar!

Honey is a natural preservative and, if stored dry, will last indefinitely.

Remember to stir it occasionally and let us know how you store and keep honey or if you have any yummy honey kombucha recipes, or if you have noticed the flavors develop.

I hope this helps you fully enjoy Zen Bear Honey Tea!
